Gardens and Villa

Next week we’re excited to be opening for Gardens and Villa, from California. They played Coachella Festival this year and their album is freaking awesome; we’ve been listening to it repeatedly. They do stuff similar to the way we do stuff, so they asked us if we wanted to be their openers and we were all “hell yeah!”. It’s cool to meet bands from the big world out there that are in to the same stuff as us. So come check ‘em out! Indian Wars will be playing too, which is pretty rad on its own.

Details:

Show is Tuesday May 29 at the Waldorf Hotel. Doors at 9pm. Tickets are available here for $12. Check the Facebook event page for more details.

Hope to see you there!

Gardens and Villa

Our album launch on Friday the 13th was a big hit. For those of you who didn’t make it out, you don’t know what you missed! So here is a short clip. Gang Signs and Synthcake were terrific. Special shout out to Lief Hall of Myths for the awesome visual and lighting effects, and to Kristy-Lee Audette (who you see smiling and dancing and playing tambourine in this clip). She is amaaazing.

Album Launch Party

Our much anticipated album launch show is happening this weekend, Friday 13 April (Friday the thirteenth!) at The Waldorf Hotel. It will be an impressive showing, featuring several guest artists who appeared on the record. Local buzz bands Synthcake and Gang Signs will be playing as well, along with WinnieCooper DJ Tristan Orchard.

If that’s not enough, Lief Hall from Myths is arranging a visual spectacle to blow your minds. Just a peek at some of the imagery from Myths’ website will get you psyched. And there are other surprised in store for you too. I can’t give away too much!

TICKETS

Advanced tickets will be cheaper than paying at the door. So if you want ‘em, go to winniecooper.net/tickets, or drop by Red Cat Records, the Waldorf front desk, or message the band via email, twitter, or Facebook. Hope to see you all there!

The show is presented by BeatRoutewinniecooper.net, and CiTR radio
